COVID-19 Resources for Families: Teaching Children to Wash Hands

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, washing hands is one of the best ways to prevent the spread of germs and viruses. Thus, it is important to help children learn about handwashing and establish it as a healthy habit. Families can help their children build this healthy habit by explaining the importance of handwashing and showing them how and when to wash hands.

On this resources page, we provide a list of fun resources that help children learn about germs and handwashing. We also include resources to help families support children with different needs by using visual cues or sign language.
