For Forces and Motion: Encourage children to notice when things are moving vs not moving. “How can we use force to get something not moving to move?”
For Living Things: Animals are living things that can move. They reach to get food, open their mouths to eat, and use different parts of their bodies to get from one place to another. Plants are also living things, but they don’t usually move, and when they do, it’s not in the same way as animals.
