Brief Description

When exploring the movement of objects, you might encourage children to notice when something moves around something else by using a gesture paired with the term “around.” For example, after children a ball to the side, you might say, “I saw you push that ball to the side. It went around the pin. I wonder what would happen if you pushed the ball straight toward the pin.”
