The COVID-19 pandemic is a very challenging time for everyone, specifically for families with young children and children with disabilities. With school being closed, children may bring a lot of questions. With disruptions of the family routines and limited physical activities, children may feel overwhelmed, upset, and stressed. STEMIE staff have curated a set of resources for families to (1) help children understand Covid-19, (2) teach children to wash their hands, and (3) to support their children's STEM learning during routines and activities.
